A popular item in our catalog of value-added modifications to an existing product, a NMS custom fabricated HDPE funnel fusion welded to a 3" sanitary ferrule creating an aseptic transition.  Specifically used for powder applications.

2011 ISPE - Boston Product Show Recap

Thank you to everyone that stopped by the Non-Metallic Solutions, Inc. booth yesterday at the 20th Annual ISPE Boston Product Show at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA.  We are always honored & grateful to participate in this local event, which includes the brightest people & the best products in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.  Once again Sam Fisher of Leading Innovative Products & Solutions, Inc. created a exhibition synergy that is 2nd to none.  The area we shared with Advanced Scientifics, ILC Dover, Aquasyn & PendoTECH aligned all 6 companies into one strategic network group that covered the spectrum of bio-pharmaceutical process components.  This alliance will continue to grow in the future!

2011 ISPE - Boston Product Show

Non-Metallic Solutions, Inc. is set up & ready to go today at the 2011 ISPE Boston Product Show in Gillette Stadium - Foxboro, MA.  NMS is located at Booth #263 & we brought a lot of new, innovative, custom fabricated products & parts to share with you.  Bill & Joe will have answers to all of your non-metallic questions & inquiries.  Doors open at noon.

10L Custom PP Carboys with Dip Tube Assemblies

Custom 10 liter polypropylene, high density, UPS Class VI carboy fabricated by NMS.  Includes the following per our customer's request:

• 3" sanitary ferrule fusion welded in place of screw top
• Sanitary end cap with  three (3) 10mm TC's, two x dip tube & one as vent
• 1” Ladish TC welded bottom dead center, with an aseptic transition
• Four (4) polypropylene legs welded to carboy elevating it by 6”

50L PP Bag Transport Tote

NMS custom fabricated 50 liter bladder bag transport tote.  ½" natural polypropylene constructed box on ¾" base with supporting gussets.  Push/pull handle on top with four (4) 3" stainless steel, pharma-grade, all-swivel casters, two with tech-lock brakes.  This particular tote is in it's 2nd generation, built for Leading Innovating Products & Solutions, Inc. (LPS).

Re-work to customer's existing 50L Carboy

Below are photo's of a customer's 50L carboy that NMS repaired along with adding new features.

NMS replaced the damaged 1½" TC (outlet) located at the bottom of the carboy.

NMS removed the threaded neck, replacing it with a fusion welded 3" USP PP sanitary fitting. A 3" USP PP end cap was given a 1½" TC x pipe & a ¾" TC x pipe, both angled to promote vortex, ending at the 10L mark in the carboy. One (1) 3/8" hose barb installed as a vent.

1 & 2 Liter USP Class VI Dip Tube Assemblies

NMS custom machined & fabricated dip tube assemblies on 2" sanitary end caps. Two styles, one for each size polypropylene bottle:

• ¾" TC's x 10mm pipe with bends, 6mm hose barb with bend & 3mm hose barb with bend
•   6mm hose barbs with bends & 3mm hose barb

PVDF Dip Tubes & Spray Ball Lances

NMS custom fabricates dip tubes in USP Class VI PVDF (polyvinylidene flouride) & polypropylene to meet your process requirements.  Please contact us at sales@nonmetallicsolutions.com to inquire about your design ideas & our dip tube selection - ¾" mini TC x any length tube (up to 8 feet in length) with a 1½" sanitary collar. Sizes range from ½" to 4" diameter & up to 20' long.

NMS custom fabricated sodium hydroxide soak tank. Double sloped bottom without partition, complete drainage using 1½" sanitary fitting on each end.  24" long x 18" wide x 16" tall on 3" polyurethane pharma-grade stainless steel casters.

36" long x 18" wide x 18" tall with center partition.
